We're still here 
 
We are still in Szeged:( because after the second week of being here Valentin had some dental problems and he had to go to the dentist to get tortured. Now he is good:) buuuuut my parents insisted we stay here till after Easter.... And so we will.  Our departure date will be, with absolute certainty on 10th of April. Tomorrow we'll try to buy the tickets to Vienna.

Timisoara

Yesterday we went to Timisoara-Romania (in Hungarian:Temesvár) and visited some friends of Valentin before the big trip starts. We got really crappy, cold and rainy weather so we didn't busk at all, as we had planned to.

It's impossible to find a straight bus line from Szeged to Timisoara. The only train, that we found is expensive and it takes more than five hours to get there, so in the end a friend came to pick us up.(we didn't try to hitchhike, so I have no idea if it's easy or not, but you should know that in Romania most of the drivers ask money for a ride so don't be suprised)

Unfortunately we didn't have time to stay and see more but I hope that we will go back one day, when the weather is better and we can fully enjoy being there.

Szeged

A week ago we finally left Budapest. Now we' re in Szeged and we are preparing for the trip and waiting for better weather so we can leave. We will probably stay here a week and a half more and than we will go straight to Vienna.

I 've spent 18 years of my life in Szeged so I will try to give you the best description i can of the city.:) It's called "the sun city" of Hungary and its situated in the south-east of the country. More information about the city and busking here will come tommorow(10th of march 2012)!

This is the first city that we are going to introduce to you. One of the most beautiful European capital you can find. I've lived here almost 3 years so I decided to write about it before we leave.

First steps

Welcome to everybody!:) We decided to make a blog to share our experiances about travelling and busking around Europe. I hope we can give you some useful information.

• About us

My name is Savane, and I live together with my boyfriend, Valentin in Budapest. In 2010 he wanted to go from Romania all the way to England but he got stuck with me in Budapest. We've been playing here almost every day for more than a year and a half now. I had a job, and i started hating it more and more, but finally I got fired :) And now we're free like birds so we decided to leave this country (witch is getting worse and worse) and travel through Europe and make a living out of busking and I would like to paint in the street.

• Plan

In the middle of March in 2012 (if the weather allows us) we'll be starting in Vienna, and we will stay there for a week or so, after we will visit Graz  and than probably we'll go to Germany and stay for a while(visiting all the major cities and some of the nature). We would like to visit Belgium, Nederland, Luxemburg, France, Sweeden, Denmark, England and hopefully Iceland(if not on this trip, deffenetly on a future one:p) and in autumn we would love to get to Spain and Portugal.

But we 'll see what the future brings us...We're open minded for every opportunity :)
